GAME OFF- Southampton

Thursday 7th January 2010. The day i made my return to London after The Christmas Holiday, full of new year hope and optimism for our game down on the coast at the Lovely Southampton.

I hadn't even got out of Sheffield station when i heard the news that the game was off, 100's texts flooding my phone matched with 100's of expletives, another away day had been crushed! From looking at Down at the Mac the excitement had been building for a long time and with the playful squabbles and banter flying between the two rival 'swiggers buses' the day would have turned out to be a memorable one.



I say fuck health and saftey, put on some good old boots and get the orange ball out!
